Braums-food poisoning
Went for lunch in Ponca city,OK and ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. Within 2 minutes my # was called and it was crispy sandwich.
Took it back to counter and said I ordered a grilled sandwich...before I got back to the table my # was called again. Went back to work and w/i 2 hours had stomach cramps etc. Next time I went into Braums mentioned this incident to the manager and her response was "it takes 48 hours to get food poisoning" which is incorrect.
They apparently do not cook their food fresh as the fact that my sandwiches got out so quickly....it takes more than 30 seconds to grill a chicken sandwich. Perhaps their crew needs to be educated on food poisoning.

The chicken on their grilled chicken sandwiches is very low grade pattied chicken meat. Wal- Mart wouldn't even sell it that is pretty bad of they refused.
I only eat at braums if I have been constipated for a week or more. Their food will always unplug me.
My daughter has had food poisioning twice from Braum's sausage biscuits.
Wrong and wrong and wrong again. Food poisoning can be anywhere from immediately, up to 24 hours.
Think it's lunch...which means they prolly busy and are selling grilled chicken left and right. It's a popular item.
That prolly explains the quickness of your order.
And food borne illness take about 20 to 24 hours before you get sick. Take a food safety class and educate
The grilled chicken *** that are used by Braum's are a thoroughly cooked product, which is shipped to the stores frozen. They grill the frozen product for approximately 6-8 minutes for it to reach 165 F or above.
The chicken is taken straight from the freezer and placed on the grill. There is no thawing or preparation, other than grilling, that is performed. Salmonella would not be a possibility, but that doesn't rule out improper food handling or cross contamination which could have caused your symptoms. It usually takes 2-6 hours for symptoms to begin.
The food poisoning claims where people claim to get sick within 20 minutes are almost always NOT the food establishment's fault where they just ate.
It is usually a stomach virus or something eaten the meal or the night before. Sorry you had a bad experience anyway.
Actually, food poisoning does take longer than 2 hours to take effect. They cook the food (grilled chicken and other) to the proper temperature of 165 and hold it on heating trays for only 30 minutes (the approved time by all health safety organizations.
Bacon gets held for 225 minutes. If you got a poorly cooked chicken, you'd know because it would feel cold or merely like warm inside. If you eat that then you're dumb...
Not braums. Ignorant
